About Me.
James Sohn is from Shreveport, LA. He is a 2023 graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He majored in Music Production and Engineering, and he also minored in both Audio Post-Production and Commercial Record Production. He aspires to become a well-experienced music producer and engineer in the music industry. He was a member and treasurer of the award-winning Berklee a cappella group On The Vox and was also the Social Media Manager of Berklee’s Asian Americans in Music and Entertainment (AAIME) club. In 2022, James collaborated with students of Emerson College's Media Arts Production to mix the award-winning short film, "Midnight Lobbies." In the summer of the same year, he was an intern at Soundtrack Boston. He was also selected to be a Track Producer for Singers Showcase: Synchronicity—The Music of Sting and The Police (2022) as part of Berklee's Signature Series of concerts. After graduating from Berklee, James is currently working as an assistant engineer at the highly-acclaimed and well-known Tree Sound Studios at Atlanta, GA, learning from the well-renowned producers and engineers there.
